Official Start

Back in 2018, I started a project I’d always dreamed of: creating a basic web hosting company. Over the years, it has grown from hosting a few sites to supporting many local businesses with back-end WordPress services. As the project expanded, so did the countless hours of manual work required to keep this hobby running. The main reason I’ve kept it going is to fund a lab within a data center and to stay hands-on with a tech stack I genuinely enjoy, rather than one I’m obligated to use.

Now, things are changing. I recently got laid off from my position. While I’m not overly concerned about finding new work, I know I need to focus. Until I land a new role, I’m dedicating myself to building a solid hosting provider—one that might even evolve into something more sustainable. Who knows? This could become my version of a packaged résumé. Kind of like pulling a Barney Stinson, but instead of a video résumé, it’s a product that showcases what I can build.
